Ross: Your Online Fitness Mentor

If you stick with the program and do the work, he charges you less overtime

Ross is a very driven individual with a wide-ranging set of interests and pursuits. He holds degrees in Business Administration and paid for them via in-home personal training. Yet, personal training left him wanting—the traditional setup sees the trainer working with the clients an hour at a time and leaves little to no room to work with the clients on peripheral needs that create the synergy required to achieve and sustain a healthy lifestyle.

Career

Ross went on to hold a successful career in Corporate Finance, working for Fortune 100 companies while living in both the U.S and Europe. He used the funds from his “day job” to start two real-estate investment companies while continuing his career in Finance. Along the way he became a published author on many subjects related to personal finance, time management, career counseling and, of course, fitness.

The Collegiate Program

Within the “Collegiate Program” Ross strives to teach clients how to manage their fitness journey without him… seriously. If you stick with the program and do the work, he charges you less overtime

The program “graduates” clients through four distinct levels: Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior.

Freshman is where the basics are covered and the foundation built.

Sophomore ramps things up a notch with more advanced topics and more challenging programming.

Junior is where Ross begins to “handoff” the programming design to the client, continuing to guide, consult and mentor every step of the way.

Senior is the capstone level: the client should be nearly completely independent at this point and Ross’s role is to simply aid in keeping things on track, and continuing to introduce advanced learning as needed.

Topics of mentoring are in three distinct areas: Training, Dieting, and Psychology.

Clients are “graduated” from one level to another based on readiness as perceived by Ross via their demonstrated approach and attitude, growing aptitude and ability to show proper application, and results. This is not an excuse to rip client’s off by holding them at more expensive levels to increase revenue—while it might seem subjective, it isn’t really. It is obvious when a client is ready, and Ross wants to graduate clients. He has limited bandwidth, and needs to graduate clients in order to take on new ones. If many clients are not graduating, Ross takes this as a personal failure. “You are in good hands”

Straight-Up Coaching

Straight-Up Coaching is exactly what is sounds like: Ross will provide custom programs and diet-plans to the client, and will check in on a weekly basis via email (of course, the client is encouraged to reach out whenever needed). Ross will make tweaks to the programs and diet plans as required given client goals, and provide basic instructional resources to optimize results as needed.
